The CREXDATA project will be present at the CERIS Annual Event 2024: Disaster-Resilient Societies. The CERIS Disaster Resilient Societies Event: From Local to International Cooperation is taking place from 5 June to 7 June 2024 in Brussels, Belgium.
The CERIS event of 5-7 June focused on Disaster-Resilient Societies for Europe will discuss existing and developing networking initiatives from the international to the local levels in support of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) policies, synergies between DRR research and capacity-building projects, as well as enhanced access to knowledge in societal resilience, technologies for first and second responders, prevention/preparedness for climate / weather extreme events and geohazards, and resilience to CBRN threats with focus on medical emergencies.
More than 25 EU projects (research and capacity building) will be represented, with over 40 speakers on various panels, including policymakers, scientists, professionals, SMEs, and civil society organizations. CREXDATA will be one of the projects present, represented by Ivana Kruijff-Korbayova.
The researcher from the Deutsches Rettungsrobotik-Zentrum e.V. (DRZ) will participate on Friday, June 7, in the panel: Technologies for first and second responders – Road to uptake, where are we standing? (moderated by Olga Vybornova, CERIS Expert Group). The other panelists will be Ivan Van Bever, TURNkey Project (NO) – Anna Nalecz-Kobierzycka, Collaris Project (PL) – Michel Zayet, CERIS Expert Group – Bernhard Jaeger, iProcureSecurity PCP Project (DE).
