HYDS main contribution is, in the context of the Weather Emergencies Use Case, to provide the control center staff a platform for monitoring extreme weather real-time data, to issue warnings anticipating emergency situations and to initiate pre-defined actuation protocols.

DRZ brings invaluable expertise from direct experience in emergency response operations, defining essential data needs, and providing critical data through robotics, including images and sensor measurements.

In order to make sure the systems’ components are suitable for possible application FDDO contributes to the project by providing historic data and experience regarding weather emergencies. Also, technical outputs along the line of development are to be tested and evaluated by FDDO as one of the partners with end-user perspective.
