On 4th September 2024, the CREXDATA consortium gathered for its 6th plenary meeting. Held virtually, the meeting brought together project partners to review progress, exchange insights, and plan the next steps in this Horizon Europe-funded initiative.
The plenary meeting began with a comprehensive review of ongoing work packages, with updates from all technical teams. Discussions included the latest advancements in Work Package 2 (Use Cases Simulators Pilots and Demonstrators) and Work Package 4 (Learning Forecasting and Analytics). Significant strides were made in the integration of forecasting models and AI-enhanced data analytics, which are central to CREXDATA’s mission of providing real-time data insights for decision support systems.
The architecture progress was highlighted aswell, focusing on the integration of CREXDATA components with the optimizer. This will enhance the system’s data fusion and graphical workflows. Furthermore, significant focus, specifically regarding feedback from the first demos, was put on CREXDATA’s transparent AI applications and augmented reality to enhance data visualization and user interfaces in emergency situations.
These key outcomes set the stage for the next phase of CREXDATA, focusing on integration, system refinement, and stakeholder engagement. The meeting concluded with an action plan for the next six months. These initiatives are expected to culminate in exciting new developments for the next plenary, which will take place in early 2025.
