Epi-Sim, a platform for epidemic simulations, has been developed by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) and Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) as part of the CREXDATA project. Designed to model disease dynamics and evaluate intervention strategies, Epi-Sim strengthens CREXDATA’s mission to deliver data-driven public health solutions using extreme-scale data.
By integrating Epi-Sim into the CREXDATA ecosystem, the project enables researchers, policymakers, and public health professionals to simulate epidemics and make informed decisions to address health challenges effectively.
